Hello everyone.
I just wanted to tell you all a few things that have been going on lately.
On Friday Feb 15th, I painted Kaitlyn's finger and toe nails for the first time. That morning, she woke up before Dylan to eat. So I spent some quality time talking and playing with her, she really enjoyed it, and smiled at me so much that morning. That was the first time that she smiled that we are sure was for a reason, not just because.
Dylan also decided a few days ago, that he needed to have his nails painted too. The nail polish was on my headboard, and he went in and started painting them all by himself. (I was getting laundry in the washer at the time) I found him in my room, and said "Dylan" and it scared him so he dropped the bottle on our bed. We now have hot pink nail polish on 3 of our 4 pillows, and a shirt and pants of his.
He just walked in the office, and said "I'm Dylan", I was talking to him and he said, "You're my best friend" He is so cute.
Kailtyn is getting so big. She is awake a lot more now, and is starting to wear 3-6 month clothes already. Mind you, she is only now 7 weeks old (tomorrow).
Travis has had a few more job interviews, but hasn't had anything come up yet. We are still looking, and still hoping that something happens for us soon. We will keep you all informed though.
I am not excited about going back to work. I only have about 5 more weeks home now. I am starting to get sad about it too. I didn't think that I would enjoy being home so much, most of the time anyways. I thought I would have accomplished more of my projects too, since I have been home, and that hasn't happened either.
I am really anxious though, because we finally bought paint for our bedroom. That is almost the last room in the whole house that needs to be painted. Go figure I would practically do it last too, since it is where we spend so much of our time. And I wouldn't pamper myself like that. But I am thrilled that we finally have the chance to get to it.
I am really excited too, next Friday is our friends' wedding. We can't wait for that. And Kaitlyn's blessing is coming up in a week and a half too. I can't believe she will be 2 months old so soon.
I hope life finds you well, and that you have much love and happiness.
Cherish all the blessing in your life, for the smallest of pleasures are the greatest treasures!!!
