I hope that you all had a wonderful Halloween. Our's was event filled, and hectic.

I got the kids up later than I should have, and was late to work because of it. But I still stopped and enjoyed some of the morning with them. I wanted to make sure that they were well equiped for the holiday festivities. I painted a pumpkin on their faces, so that everyone would know they had Halloween spirit. (the secret was nail polish, so that it stayed on all day).

Dylan thought I was painting his nails, so he told me to do his foot. So he got a pumpkin on his foot too!
I worked 6-10 PM, so there wasn't much night in store for me. I left Chase a bit early and picked up the kids. I then came home and dressed them in their costumes and took them to WalMart. At WalMart they were having a trick or treat in the store. So we went from department to department and trick or treated. Dylan loved to say "Trick or Treat" and get lots of candy.
Flex those muscles Power Rangers - Jungle Fury!
Later on, Travis came home and we ate a quick McDonalds dinner, just in time to go to our Trunk or Treat at the park. We did a quick run around the park, and then it was time for me to go. On our walk around, Dylan seen the park, and was crying that he just wanted to go play. But once we passed it, and it was more out of sight-out of mind, he was ok again. He was really distracted with the other costumes, saying things like "Iron Man" and "Star Wars" as we passed all the other kids. He stared at them the whole time. We had to keep pointing out all the places where he could actually get candy from people.

Kaitlyn wasn't really in the mood for the whole thing. She had a high fever, and was pretty mellow for the most part. But she was a big HIT with everyone we passed. They couldn't stop saying how ADORABLE she was. And she WAS...even though we knew she totally didn't feel good at all.

Trav stayed home with the kids at night; since Kaitlyn wasn't well, and they all just took it easy! Sorry Grandma's and Grandpa's (and other family) that you didn't get to see them as usually.

Dylan is OBSESSED with the Power Ranger costume though. He wore it all day yesterday, and even wore it to bed. Oh MY! I got home from work and Travis said that he wouldn't take it off, so he was asleep in it. I said you better get a picture. He's worn it ALLLLLL day today too. Until he got it wet, and we told him it'll have to be washed!!!

Kaitlyn has still been sick. We had a bit of a scare last night when I kissed her goodnight. She was burning up, so I checked her temperature. It was 104 (rectally), and I immediately called the ask a nurse number. They said as long as it goes down in about an hour, that she would be ok. So we have been keeping a close eye on her. Today she seems to be better so far. But still gonna watch her closely.

What cuties you have! I can't believe how big Dylan has gotten. It is fun to check up on one another, especially since we don't get to see each other much!
