December . . . . So SOON!

I am totally in AWE of the weather and the time of year. I can't believe that it's already December, time for a Christmas Tree, and snow. Although we have been lacking the snow part. Which I totally can't believe.

Kaitlyn has officially started to CRAWL now. Last night we were in the living room getting things ready for our tree, and she started taking a few crawls forward (sorry that I don't know the correct terminology for crawling movements) haha. But she did a few forward, and I said "Trav, she's crawling", and he said "That's not crawling". Because by the time he came to see, she wasn't doing it anymore. So I told him to just watch her. She's getting SO good at the army crawl though, she can MOVE. It's so funny to watch her! She is saying more all the time, and loves the funniest stuff. Dylan still loves to play with her so much, and still gets mad at her about certain things. He especially doesn't like the way she claws at your face, and scratches. But ALL of us don't like that. She likes to smack you in the face, and won't stop sometimes. She still loves to play peek-a-boo, and has been "singing" and "dancing" too. She sits in her chair, or on the floor, and she moves her head around and sorta hums along to the music. It's too cute.

On Thanksgiving day, we were at my Dad's house. It was early in the day, so we had breakfast there. Grandpa put her on the counter in front of where he was sitting, and was playing with her for the majority of the time we were there. While he was eating, she was reaching for his food, and he was feeding her off his plate. He said to her "Want another bite?" And she said "NO!" and shook her head no to him. It was so funny! That was her first time saying NO ever! She DID in fact want another bite though, so she was just saying no for YES too! haha. Grandpa liked to tease her with the fork too, and would put it just up in front of her. Just enough to be out of reach and go in circles with it, and she would open her mouth all wide, and just follow the fork around. Or she would lean forward trying to get it! Baby sure likes her food!!!

Dylan is getting so big too! He likes to do so much by himself now! He's even going potty, at random on his own. He's told us that "Big kids don't have their butt's changed" And I laughed and said "Nope, they go in the potty". Last night we were putting Kaitlyn's tree in her room and he went in to pee. So then he runs in K's room and says "I'm a big kid now". It's always exciting. He also told us last night, while Kaitlyn was eating cheerios, "Those are for pee". I was laughing. Because we were trying to motivate going potty, and showed him that he could "shoot" the cheerios. So now he thinks that's what they are for I guess. Too funny!

He seen a Star Wars toy/costume on tv the other day, and he said "I want that", so Trav told him "Maybe if you are good, Santa will bring it to you for Christmas". So Dylan has been asking us almost every day, "Is it Christmas, so I can get my Star Wars?". He is SOOOOO excited for that Star Wars thing, it's so funny!

I hope things are well for you all!
I will post some things soon, of our Thanksgiving, and other things.

Kids are too funny. We out up our Christmas tree and when I went to wake up Miah she said "We can't leave because it is Christmas". It is going to be a long 23 days for her!
I can't believe K is already crawling. Makes me sad because she will be so different when we next see her!
Good for D. I'll have to remember the cheerios thing to have Isaac try if I can ever get him interested.
Good to see you posting again!
