Trav and Jen's Family: Notable mentions....

I thought I would highlight a few things that we did over the summer.

Which never officially made their way to my blog.

Most of which could have easily had a WHOLE post, all to themselves, but for lack of time....it just hasn't/didn't happen thus far.

Travis and I got new Tattoos. We did this on July 1st. Most people have seen them, but for those out of towner's (or that we don't often see in person).

Travis got SLIM on his right leg. (a memento of high school days)

I got a purple heart on my right foot/ankle. As well as the Chinese character for Love on my left side/inner wrist. (both are meaningful to me)

Here are the kiddo's in a hut that we made. We always do this with the pool table...covering it with blankets. Dylan loves to do this, and so did Kaitlyn. Just a fun little thing we can do at home.

This was a BIG attraction for the kids. Playing in the sand and building castles. Aunt Cristy was a hoot, and helped a lot. They all dug a hole, filled it with water, then dumped gold fish crackers in, so they could "fish" with their shovels. It was pretty hysterical to watch them.

Just playing in the water, and chillin in the raft. Gotta love the fun water activities that we can do while it's summer. What better way to pass the days, then spending a WHOLE day at the lake.

JAYDEN'S VISIT!!!

Some may know, some may not. My littlest sister Jayden lives with her Dad in Ohio. She finally got to come out and visit. It's been 2-3 years since we've seen her.

So this was a BIG TIME deal for us. Sadly we only got a few days with her. They couldn't stay long enough. But we made the most of the time we had, the best we could.

The first night, we bbq'ed hot dogs, played on the slip 'n' slides, jumped on the tramp, colored, roasted marshmallows, had a sleep over, watched movies and just hung out!

The second day we went to Hogle Zoo. It was so fun. We all kept busy, chasing kids around and exploring.
