Flashback: Going out of town!

We took a little mini vacation. February 20th and 21st, 2010.

It was a nice over nighter, that gave us the chance to get away from things for a little while, and enjoy some family time.

We tood a drive up to Logan, and stayed in a hotel.

We thought it would be nice to go swimming and have a yummy dinner at the Bluebird Restaurant.

Dylan and Kaitlyn were so excited for the hotel.  Dylan told us pretty much everything in the room was AWESOME!!!  He couldn't believe how big the drawers were, or that there were two beds, or that they had a little fridge, or the coffee maker, or the TV, or the bathroom.  It was so funny listening to him say things like, "Mom, look at the huge drawers, this is awesome!!"

The room with the pool and hot tub was so dark and foggy from the steam, that you could hardly see, let alone get a decent picture.

We had a lot of fun swimming and sitting in the hot tub though. The pool wasn't super warm, so we kept going from the pool to the hot tub to stay warm. The kids were loving standing on the seats in the hot tub.

Kaitlyn was a little dare devil. We are going to have to watch out for her. She would just walk right off the edge of the hot tub seat, even when we weren't there to help her.  I'm glad she's not afraid of the water, but scared that she's not at the same time.

It was fun to give the kids piggy back (ish) rides through the water though while we swam.

Back in the room, after the bath, and ready for a movie in our comfy PJ's.
