A Happy Halloween and More!

Seems like there were a lot of Halloween Festivities this year.
I don't remember ever getting the kids dressed up more than the one time. (When we were actually going to take them trick or treating.)
After getting ready, they had to be the cutest Lady Bug and Ninja EVER.

FUN AT ROBERTS
10/23/10
Kaitlyn
Dylan
They made some funny glasses.
Got their faces painted.
Did a cake walk, and got some candy.
Plus they got to make a magnetic ghost, and some fun Halloween pumpkin cards to take home.
It was really quite fun, considering it was free too!

CARVING PUMPKINS
10/24/10
Kaitlyn wanted heart shapes on her pumpkin.  It was fun to carve something different than usual too.
Dylan directed Travis every step of the way.
Triangle eyes, square nose and rectangle mouth.
Travis went all abstract. And stuck with the BIGGEST mouth ever.
(seems to be his trademark)
I carved a bat.
Then we lit them up to see the results.
It was fun to have the kids so involved this year.
They really got into it, even took out the guts themselves, and helped us hold the knives while we were cutting them.

HALLOWEEN DAY/NIGHT
10/30/10
Our munchkins at our first stop WALMART!
We go trick or treating at all of their departments.
This is the second time we've done it, and we have really liked it.

Then we went to Macey's for their trick or treating.
Then on to the Valley Fair Mall's trick or treating.
They made a killing there.

Visited Grandma Arlette at work.
Visited Grandma Stewart and the aunts and cousins.
Visited Grandma and Grandpa Braithwaite, and some more cousins.
Scary bunch that visited while we were at
Grandma and  Grandpa Braithwaite's.
*Danny incognito! *
And last but not least.  We visited at Grandma and Grandpa Syme's.
Got to see more aunts, uncles and cousins.

Then they got to spend the night and Aunt Leslie's and Uncle JD's.
It was a SUPER Halloween.
We couldn't have asked for more fun.
And we were lucky enough to have Trav home part of the day, to spend some of it with us.
