I thought I would let everyone know, I am changing my hours at WalMart.
Things have been so hectic. And the time has shown the suffering of my family.
Therefore, I feel that I am needed at home more.
It was before Christmas. I worked 7 days in a row at WalMart. So that I could have Christmas Eve and Day off. Which was really nice. Yet it was difficult, because I was gone EVERY day!
It was that Monday December 22nd. It hit me REALLY hard. I was just getting home from Chase, and then changing to go to WalMart. Kaitlyn was following me around, crying "Mama, mama." I was going nuts, trying to get ready and dealing with her, while Travis was shoveling the butt load of snow that we have been getting. So I was really flustered. I sorta lost my temper with Travis once he came back in. I left in not so good a mood, and then had a hard night. I cried at work several times that evening. That's when I decided that it was WAY to much! I have been doing between 22 and 29 hours a week at WalMart, on top of my 40 at Chase. So I have really been BUSY!
That night, I asked for a form to change my schedule. But then I had to wait a week to discuss it with the Assistant Manager! So I finally did that a week or so ago! She said not a problem. And after this week and next, I will finally be freed up a little more! I know that time is precious, and I am already beating myself up for missing out on as much as I have! But I know that I was doing what had to be done too! And I want my family to know that they mean more to me than anything, and I will work my GUTS out, as long as I have to!
Anyways. I am only going to be working on Friday, Saturday and Sundays now! I am so happy that I got that changed. It will mean I have SO much more time with Trav, Dylan and Kaitlyn. Not to mention everyone else that we never see lately. And I may even have some time for ME again! I sure miss Scrapbooking!
Moments like these, to always be cherished!

Jenni, you are such a good Mom. You are so amazing to be making such big sacrafices for your family! I would have broken down a LONG time ago. Im so happy for you that you were able to make some changes and will be able to spend a little more time with your family!
Jen, You are such a trooper ! I'm glad to hear that you will get to be home more ! The time goes by so fast ! They are at such an adorable age take it in ! I wish I would have done more to remember that precious age ! Anyway, You know we love you and would be glad to help with kids. So you can have a quiet moment ! Love ya !Heath
Jen, WoW!!! That’s a lot of working and complain that I have to work 40 hours a week. What a wonderful wife and mother you are to sacrifice so much time. Glad you were able to work something out and can do it all and still have a little time with the kids. Any time you want to scrap give me a call….Hugs…Rachel
I'm so glad to hear that you got things switched around so that you can be with your family more. I know that they all were missing you as much as you missed them. How's it turning out?
