KAITLYN's New Room
We decided to paint Kaitlyn's room in the pinks from her bedspread.
We did an accent wall with the dark and light pinks.
I made these cute framed birds to hang in there.
Here is the dresser we found, that pretty much matches the headboard she already had.
All the other walls are light pink.
Here is the main wall with the headboard on it.
And the other wall with the curtain I made her on it.
She really likes the way her room turned out, and has said that the striped wall is the "Cute wall". I'm glad she likes it.
It's been a lot of work, moving around 3 rooms, but it's also been a lot of fun to redecorate and make the kids more grown up rooms.
Dylan likes her room too, and they really like to have "sleep overs" in each other's rooms all the time.
While we are sitting here posting about her room, she keeps telling me to put "I love you Mom!" on here.
It's so cute and fun how they react to different things.
I love these kids with all I have to give!!

Jenny it's so cute! I love the colors...I haven't seen your house since before you guys moved in. By the way congrats on the new little one!!!
Thanks a lot :D It's been fun decorating for sure. I love doing it, and it was fun to rethink the kids rooms when we were moving them around. We should really have you all over sometime. It's been too long for sure.
That looks so cute! I wish I was creative like you in decorating my kids' bedrooms. Maybe I should hire you:) I love the striped wall - it IS the cute wall!
Thanks Heidi. I just love doing it, and find inspiration in strange places sometimes :D
